u could be the worst roman emperor of all time
i watched u shoot basketballs and said it was “fine”

i didn’t mean for this to be a mean poem but you bring out the worst in me

chandelier in the living room is used ... for when and where and what purpose? i don’t think i deserve this (i have not seen you turn it on one time) unlike you, i’m honest

losing a sense of urgency — not about anything urgent
any consideration i give to you is a gift — i don’t ask for it to be reciprocated (and it isn’t)

i remembered the feeling of a skee ball leaving my hand
i’d like to say i haven’t thought about it
and left you in the bookstore checkout line
but unlike you i’m honest

for one, i begin what i say with an optimism and a truthfulness that u can’t comprehend, rendering me clueless when u eventually ...
